Miami and Miami Beach are well known for vacationers and as a thriving metropolitan area. Every conceivable water, sand and sun activity is available, from fishing to wave running. World-class dining, luxurious accommodations and acres of convention space made Miami a premier destination for every type of conference and seminar.

Palm Beach is widely a recognized area. Jupiter and Juno Beaches are more recently developed vacation resort spots. Palm Beach is reputed to be a playground for the wealthy, but it’s also well known for its publicly accessible beaches.

East Central Florida Beaches cover the east central beaches including, Melborne, Cocoa Beach, Port Saint Lucie, up thorough Daytona Beach, coastal towns, and more.

About halfway down the Florida Atlantic coastline is the Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach area. In addition to the activities centered on auto racing, Daytona Beach and Daytona Beach Shores have a popular Boardwalk, beautiful beaches, and a fishing pier. Most of the action is centered at this beach, so if you want quieter beaches, look in some of the nearby beaches. There is twenty-three miles of beach on this stretch of the coast.

In the Cocoa Beach area, the seventy-two miles of beach are largely undeveloped. You can rely on time and space to yourself if you decide to spend a day at the Canaveral National Seashore. Playalinda Beach is located on the barrier island which makes up the seashore. Cocoa Beach itself is known as a surfing hotspot. The beaches in the area are named after well-known (and not so well-known) people in the area.

Fort Pierce and Vero Beach areas has great snorkeling and scuba diving, including a visit to the Spanish galleon wreck known as Urca de Lima which lies just offshore at Pepper Park. Hutchinson Island is loaded with beautiful beaches, fishing opportunities and scuba diving.
