Tavernier is a small island located southwest of Key Largo. It is part of the popular and world-class Florida Keys. The Florida Keys is a group of islands located south of Miami. It is easy to get to the town, the nearest airport is Miami International about an hour away from the city. From MIA, you need to get to the Ronald Reagan Tollway and exit on US Highway 1. The US Highway 1 is one of America’s most scenic highways. This will lead you to most of the islands including Tavernier.
