Kure beach is a small area on the beaches of North Carolina. It is relatively secluded and visitors won’t find a lot of amusement park style recreation facilities here. Even the shops are a very limited few in number. There are tennis courts, pools and clubhouses. Visitors may find the new upscale cottages, hotels and quite a few motels for their stay over the beach.

Topsail beach is endorsing friendly and family style beach excursions. High rise developments are not encouraged. Beautification and conservation of the beach is encouraged. Topsail beach has a very small resident ratio that increases manifolds during the vacation months with visitors flocking the area. All the resident businesses get a boost during the vacation season only. Pier fishing is one of the most preferred activities over the beach.
