The York beach range entails: harbor beach, long sands beach and the short sands beach. These three beaches though small in area have a lot to offer for each visitor.
Harbor beach is a very scenic, small beach with gentle surf in the York harbor area. The parking is limited and free. Visitors can rent out or purchase portable rest rooms for the beach from the harbor beach road. Life guards are on duty from the end of June till the Labor Day each year.
Long sand beach is named after its long sandy beach that has a designated surf area. Visitors can enjoy metered parking throughout the length of the beach. Rest rooms are available at the bathhouse.
Short sands beach is a small, sandy beach with gentle surf. Metered parking is available, easy to approach shops and quite a few amusements are available on the beach.
Ogunquit beach is a very popular beach among families. It has splendid 3.5 miles of sand filled beaches well known throughout the country. There are several parking areas available and the beach can also be reached via trolleys. With so many facilities for restrooms, parking, snack bars the beach also offers white sand and warm surf to enjoy. Footbridge beach is comparatively an isolated section. People go their searching for the less crowded regions. Snack bars and rest rooms are available along with the patrolled lifeguards.
Wells beaches are wonderful stretch of sand and sand dunes covering a large portion besides the shore line. The beaches have parking facilities and other civic amenities that make your stay a comfortable one. The beach stickers can be obtained from town hall. There are two small beaches that come under the wells beach range are the drake’s island beach and the crescent beach.

Kennebunk beaches are quite a few in numbers though individually small in areas they collectively make for miles of white sand filled beaches across the wide blue ocean that many people select to share there most precious moments of life. Mother’s beach is a small sandy beach that has life guards available throughout the year. It is a very well protected beach but there are no facilities available. Gooch’s beach forms the biggest part of the Kennebunk beaches. It has talcum powder like sand and some lifeguards. Make sure you carry food along with you as there are no snack bars on the beach.
Colony beach, middle beach, cleaves clove beach, goose rock beach and few more collectively make the exotic range of Kennebunk beaches.
