Connecticut Beaches have a collection of some exciting shores on these East Coast Beaches that people frequent on a regular basis for  various beach activities. The shores have a collection of spas, resorts, swimming pools, fishing charters etc. as well as a number of hotels and restaurants available during your stay.

Greenwich beach has a lot of activities for tourists as well as residents. Visitors enjoy jogging, walking, cycling, nature study, boating, fishing, sun bathing, swimming and picnics. There are a lot of benches to sit on for relaxation and enjoyment. This beach is open all year however in the months from May to September a pass is required. Leashed dogs are also allowed between the months of December and March.

Norwalk beach is well known for its sailing activities. A lot of tourists and residents take up the 10 hours long sailing courses. There are numerous islands to anchor. The surf is smooth and wind is decent. All the great features make Norwalk beach a great place to learn sailing.

Fairfield beach is very large stretch of land occupying approximately 33 acres of area. The features of the beach are mini golf courses, fishing areas, softball fields, volleyball courts, windsurfing, kayaking etc. Beach stickers are issued to residents as well as visitors for parking their cars at the beach from the beach authorities. The beach also have playgrounds for children, bathhouse and food concessions. People enjoy beach parties, picnics and many other social activities here. Rest rooms are available.

Bridgeport offers soft sandy beaches along with freedom from any sea shells that pork into feet. There are numerous activities happening along the clear waters of the ocean. This is a very nice beach with all the amenities and newly constructed bathhouses, skateboard grounds, volleyball grounds, soccer fields etc. Visitors can enjoy a ride along the whole shore. The beach is ethnically diverse and tourists have a bash of their lives over here.

Hammonasset beach continues for a 2 mile long land area where people enjoy various kinds of beach activities starting from treasure hunts to extended boardwalks. It is the place to go when the climate becomes hot and humid in Connecticut. The white sandy beaches have a lot to offer for people of all age groups. People often visit the beach for jogs, dining, walks, tanning etc. Restrooms and changing facilities are available. In summers there are quite a lot food discounts also. Dogs are not allowed on the beach or boardwalk. The beach is crowded during summers but one can find a place to spread his or her blanket and enjoy the beach.
